Today we have had many children off school with a sickness bug.

In class we have talked about washing hands to help not pass on germs. These children put glitter on their hands and pretended it to be germs. They then washed their hands and noticed there was glitter still on their hands, shoes, doors, tables…. everywhere! By the end of the day we could see the glitter all over the classroom – this helped the children to understand how easy it is to spread germs!

We talked about importance of washing hands to prevent germs from spreading. The children loved this!
